Welcome to FaceTale. By using our website and app, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they're short.

1. What FaceTale is (and isn't)

FaceTale is an entertainment and self-reflection product. It is inspired by the traditional art of Chinese face reading and uses AI to generate playful personality readings. It is not a scientific, medical, psychological, or predictive service. Readings are for fun and should never be used to make important decisions about your health, finances, relationships, or life.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your region) to use FaceTale. If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping it secure and for activity under it. Sign-in is provided via Google, Apple, or email.

3. Purchases, billing & refunds

  • The free preview is free. Full reports are a one-time purchase — there is no subscription in this version.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Stripe handles card processing and currency conversion, and the charge appears on your statement.
  • Because reports are delivered as digital content, please choose carefully. If something went wrong, contact us and we'll review refund requests in good faith.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload images you don't have the right to use, or images of others without their consent.
  • Use the service to harass, profile, or make decisions about other people.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its AI outputs.

5. Intellectual property

The FaceTale brand, content, and the structure of our readings are ours. Your generated reading is yours to share for personal, non-commercial use.

6. No warranties

FaceTale is provided "as is," for entertainment. We make no promises about the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of any reading for any purpose. Readings are creative interpretations, not facts.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FaceTale and its team are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory local consumer law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
